Connecting with nature is a vital way to boost our immunity, build mental resilience, and find peace. This course is specially designed for adults (all age) with physical, sensory, or mental health needs and those who may feel isolated, who are looking for a gentle, inclusive way to explore our local green and blue spaces.
What to expect:
🎨 Creative fun (Photography, Poetry, Fun Activities)
🧘 Mindfulness & Storytelling
🌍 Learning about the environment, nature, local history, & geology plus how to manage and sustain or improve our wellbeing using our own unique 6 ways to wellbeing tool.
🤝 New friendships in a supportive, small group + a lot more.
And before and after the course day, each one will start and finish at a local cafe, for refreshments for those who wish to meet up. (Refreshments at participants expense)
All wheels/walks will take place in accessible spaces, but will include some easy to navigate woodland paths.
And you’ll also have access to our peer to peer WhatsApp group to connect further, plus have access to support via one to one meetings, and email contact.
